Through a triangulated approach of leveraging networks, facilities, and programming, Feed & Seed will create a stronger network of farmers; increase individual, community, and institutional access to fresh and minimally processed local foods; and expand awareness of the individual and community benefits of a strong local food system.
From field, to "Feed & Seed", to table, your food has a story.
Human diets have changed more in the past 100 years than in the past 10,000! We believe our roots connect us as people, as a community and as a whole. Feed & Seed, draws regional farmers to provide products directly from the field, and orient them toward schools, restaurants, care facilities, grocers, and also the neighborhood consumer. Through coordinated consultation of dozens of organizations, more local edibles will reach more tables in South Carolina; we’re getting back to our roots.

A registered 501(c)3 non-profit, Feed & Seed will connect the wholesale marketplace to seasonal farm products, focused on the ten counties of Upstate South Carolina and our neighbors. Our operating partners will serve as educators, consumers and fabricators of value-added products created from the raw materials Feed & Seed sources from our regional farms.
